Ibex ( description )

  The ibex is a mammal very sociable, it lives in mountain massifs. It was hunted by human being, long time ago, but with appaerance of arm fire, it totally disappeared in certain places. It's for it that national parks, and reintroductions was created. Little by little, the ibex starts again his area of gegraphical distribution of departure.

   The ibex, endowed with horns which grow to the male at the age of 3 months, weight 65 in 100 Kg. It measures of the head in the tail, approximately 1.40 in 1.60m and 75 in 90cm in the withers. The most striking characteristic, to the male, is his horns wich can weight up to 6K the pair, they ( horns ) measure 70 in 100cm.

   A female is almost as small as the male, it weights 35 in 50 Kg, and measure 1.05 in 1.45m and 70 in 78 in the withers. For differentiate it of the male, simplest stay the size of horns, because it has it, but his are shorter than those of the male. Approximately of 20 in 25cm for a weight of 100 in 300g the pair. We observe to the male's horns, rolls which are to the females absent. 

  Recognize the sex of ibex stay very difficult before the age of one year, and stay moreover impossible before the age of 5 in 6 months. That's the reason while it is name kid.  After one year, young males are have horns more thick than those of the females, the diameter of horns allowes to differentiate the sexe.
